Trividia TRUEdraw Lancing Device.

Lancing devices are reusable medical devices used in conjunction with a lancet for
obtaining capillary blood samples for blood glucose monitoring. The device is “loaded” by
pulling back on the lance body. This activates a spring, which places a linear spring
load on the lancet and locks the lancet in a retracted state. The internal lancet holder
is locked in place via a trigger latch located on the internal lancet holder. The lancet
is released (“fired”) by the user via a trigger button on the outside of the device. An
adjustable tip allows for various the depths of skin penetration appropriate for each
user. For alternate site testing a clear nozzle is provided which is to be used in place
of regular nozzle.
